I'm not sure). Then I hammered small nails in random arrangement because I thought they would look like stars, and I was quite happy with the result. Discovered a problem - the nails stuck out the back. Cut off those pieces and used those long scraps to make the sunburst design on the front cover and the other smaller suns (novas? call 'em whatever you want) on the back page.
